Rescue 10 responds as 2nd due rescue to an
Accident with Entrapment!
2/02/2008 –
Shortly after 01: 00 hours Rescue 10 was
dispatched as 2nd due Rescue to
Swatara Twp. Rescue 10 arrived on scene on
Rt.72 just south of New Bunkerhill. Deputy
47(Cunningham) advised to assist the crew from
Co.47 with extrication. Co.10 personnel
proceeded to set up a full complement of tools
and removed the roof from the vehicle and pushed
the dash off the patient. The Rescue was on
scene for about an hour. Also on scene
Co.47

Busy
day ends with an accident with entrapment!
1/29/2008 – Shortly after 23:00 hours Rescue 10
was alerted to assist with an accident with
entrapment. While enroute to the scene county
advised the vehicle ran head on into a tree.
Chief 46 arrived and confirmed that the driver
was trapped in the vehicle. The rescue was
assigned to the extrication and proceeded to
take the roof and pop the doors on the vehicle.
The patient was removed from the vehicle in
about 15-20 minutes. Also on scene
Co.46
