Perseverance - since 1803

2009 ANNUAL FIRE CHIEF’S REPORT

The Perseverance Fire Company responded to 251 Emergencies in 2009. 2,054 members answered these alarms donating 1,426.4 man-hours. The Fire Company was in service for 156.4 hours.

We held or attended 33 Trainings throughout the year with 170 members training for 394.2 man-hours. There were 2 Details with 23 members in service for 36.5 man-hours.

Totals for the year were 2,247 members volunteered 1,857.1 man-hours of their time to serve Jonestown and the surrounding Communities. These times are just a portion of the time spent by the average volunteer to support this cause.

A volunteer Fire Company works with the support of the Community as a whole. This is accomplished with either financial support or actively volunteering of your time. Both of these are greatly needed and thankfully accepted at any time. If you are interested in doing either of these feel free to contact us at 865-3635 or any Fire Company member.
